I particularly enjoyed the superb coffee quality at breakfast, which was a delightful way to start my day.
However, the noise from the busy street outside made it challenging to get a restful night's sleep on several occasions.

clean and spacious rooms, excellent connectivity to public transport, abundant natural light in rooms
Inadequate soundproofing leading to disturbance from street traffic!!! The small and slow elevator is far from ideal for a busy hotel!!! Maintenance issues like a noisy fridge could really use attention!!!

during my weekend stay, I loved how close I was to the stunning Massimo Theater and the picturesque gardens of Villa Giulia, making it easy to explore the best of the city on foot.

The location is fantastic—just a quick walk to the marina and city center. Rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast offers a delightful variety, but if you prefer a substantial meal, the selections might feel a bit limited. The noise from the bustling street can be a concern at night, though.

Unexpected hospitality in Palermo
My stay at Hotel Pontemare was delightful, marked by attentive service and a varied breakfast each morning. The spacious rooms filled with natural light were a highlight.
However, street noise was quite disruptive at night, making it challenging to get a good night's sleep. Also, there were some maintenance issues I encountered during my stay.

The triple room felt more like a flat, which was awesome for our family stay. Super clean and modern. The AC worked perfectly during the hot Palermo days. Loved the small fridge for drinks! The staff was attentive and had great local tips. Just a heads up, if you're facing the street, it can get noisy at night, but they were great about moving some guests to quieter courtyard rooms.

The hotel was clean and well-furnished, providing a great base for exploring, everything we needed was just a short walk away. I was particularly impressed with the staff-always friendly and willing to help whenever we needed anything.
It wasn’t cheap, but still acceptable.
